The front desk nobody could afford.

Rylie is the virtual receptionist that answers the calls a small business misses, books the job, and works the hours a person cannot.

Why it exists.

We started Rylie because a lot of small business owners cannot afford a receptionist, and are too busy to take every call. That leaves an owner three options, and all three are bad.

  • Hire someone

A salary, payroll, and cover for the days that person is not at the desk.

  • Answer it yourself

The phone wins, and the work you are actually paid for waits until it stops.

  • Use an answering service

It knows nothing about the business, so it books the wrong things.

  • Rylie

Always on, never off sick, knows your business, and costs a fraction of a salary.

Answering the phone costs an owner money, or it costs the day.

Take the front desk work off the owner.

The phone gets answered and the appointment gets booked correctly, whether or not a person is at the desk. We win when the owner stops thinking about Rylie, because the bookings keep arriving.

What we do not negotiate on.

  1. Template first, client second. Anything built for one business has to work for the next one.
  2. Escalate early. When Rylie is unsure it hands the call to a person or takes a message.
  3. Standard before custom. Start with what already works everywhere, then go deeper where it fails.
  4. No provider is wired in so deep that we cannot swap it out.
